Troop 276 goes on one campout every month from August to May with the exception of December when the troop opperates its Christmas tree sales. Campouts are normally within a few hours drive of Oklahoma City. Some of our more popular campout sites are Robbers Cave State Park, Camp Kickapoo, Lake Arcadia, Lake Thunderbird, the Illinoise River, and the Wichita Mountians. The troop provides tents, tools, and cookware along with six meals which the scouts often prepare on thier own. Campout activities vary by site. When we camp at a lake or on a river, we often bring the troop's canoes with us. We usually preform a service project at the campground we are staying at. We attend a summer camp in June or July every year and a high adventure trip every two years during the summer.
